Project 1A : Stewardship
consists my personal background, stewardship actor in built environment and how can I contribute betterment of built environment.
Project 1B : Personal Logo
In brief, I chose my favourite lucky charm, Crystal ball and a pyramid as the main elements of my logo. Crystal ball purifies and isolates myself from any approaching negativity. Pyramid represents mysterious technology. Leaf and my initial J are inside the symmetrical pyramid to show that I cherish nature as much as to myself.
PS: Don't you think that it somehow look like a BANANA. I realised it before handing in the project today's morning. Hope, this leaves impression as well.

FitMalaysia Run
Today I joined FitPenang for 5KM Run.
It wasn't really exciting due to poor traffic control. The runway was not isolated from the motorway. But I had fun anyway due to
Free Drinks - Gatorade & Revive Wootz
** Lucky Draw
Supposedly, the lucky draw was meant for the cyclists. We were at the main canopy for shades and a kind-hearted man gave us a stack (about 50 pieces) of the lucky draw cards. We were so surprised.
Yes, The prizes were 2 F&B hampers and an OVEN. What to do with the OVEN since we stay at the hostel ??? Not allowed.
A big thank you to the man who gave us the cards. TQ for your kindness.
Be Kind And Carry On. Fortune knocks.

Architectural Lettering & Portrait Drawing
This is my very first architectural lettering, I sincerely show my gratitude to the readers who spend your precious time to have a look at this amateur writing. Thank you.
There are a few lessons I learnt on my attempt :
- I will hold my T-square gently as I tended to press on the T-square too firm that its printing for figures on the ruler left marks on my paper.
- I will sharpen my pencil whenever it is not sharp anymore to ensure the consistency of the font.
- I will check regularly of the alignment of the stock (head) of T-square with the drawing board to avoid misalignment.
First and foremost, I deeply apologize for my terrible drawing. This is the first time I shade for shadow as well. Obviously, it looks deformed at the eyes , in which I started with the wrong pencil, 6B. Have a nice day, keep calm and move on. =)

In Full,
I’m Jeffrey Ooi Hui Xin, 20, you can
address me as Jeff or Jeffrey. Currently, I am enrolled by Universiti Sains
Malaysia (USM) under School of Housing, Building and Planning (HBP), undertaking the course of Building Technology. I’m
feeling excited after surviving tonnes of competitions for admission into USM
due to its APEX status.
I love my family
and I love peace. I live simple and I cherish time. I believe in kindness and I
offer help.
I came from a
family of 5, having a food technologist eldest sister and a USM Doctor of
Medicine in the making elder brother. Generally, the youngest will be loved the
most and this may explain that I was being a mischievous kid. Fortunately, being mischievous at
young age had led me to have a steadfast decision to keep improving my
personality. Upon entering high school, I applied to be a prefect to keep
myself discipline at first then I realised being friendly is essential as well.
There, I experienced the importance of team work and trust within an
organization. Here, I quote my favourite : United we stand, divided we fall. Next, in SMK Desa Mahkota, a newly formed Form 6 centre, I once faced
great pressure and mental exhaustion, then I came across meditation as
stress relief and law of attraction mentioned in a book ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda
Byrne, which, in my interpretation it also can be known as the power
of wish. Since then, I believe that staying positive, calm and make wish
invites fortune to us. Stay calm, be kind and carry on.
